Introducing Billy Chapeau

Billy 'Chapeau' Gross, a New Yorker since 1966, journeyed Europe in the '70s as a street musician. In 1978, he co-founded The Lost Wandering Blues & Jazz Band, captivating audiences with timeless music from Ma Rainey to Bob Dylan.

After twelve years touring the USA and Europe, Billy settled in Denmark in 1990, collaborating with Jonathan Ash in the rock musical "Rock Clock".

Today, he continues his musical exploration, partnering with talents like Neil Stanford, Søren Høg, and his son, Spencer Gross, in covers and original compositions across American roots, blues, swing, country, and folk.
